Tonight’s Sideshow Collectibles newsletter brings us the next Premium Format from the Star Wars license. This character for many fans of the Star Wars Universe may just be the sexiest of the Jedi Order. Aayla is probably one of the most well known Jedi and one of the most popular. So for fans of this character this works well for her finally getting the PF treatment. She is going to go up for order next week during Sideshow’s newsletter. Weta Workshop’s Gandalf the Grey Statue Review

Looking at the pics of this piece I would say if you’re a fan of The Lord of the Rings you should really add this to your collection. Hot Toys Nick Fury The Avengers Preview

The Avengers is sure to be one of 2012 biggest and best movies for at the very least comic fans around the world. Well, the folks at Hot Toys have announced the first figure from this film and the character is the leader of Shield Nick Fury. The preview doesn’t show the sculpt but knowing Hot Toys it will most likely be one of the best Samuel l. Jackson sculpts we’ve seen. As soon as it goes up for order or more pics show up I will let you all know.

Sideshow Collectibles Battle Droid Review

Today, I have for your viewing pleasure a review of the Sideshow Collectibles Battle Droid 2-Pack. These were first shown around Comic-Con last year looking very impressive and came out in production as good. The 2-Pack really shows the steps Sideshow has taken in what they’re willing to give a go in 1:6th scale and that they will be willing to tackle more complex projects. This Droid set comes in with a price tag of $120 but includes two figures making it a great price of only $60 per set. The Exclusive set has a wait list which includes the special 1138 backpack, but the regular version of the set is listed as in-stock and can be shipped to your door in 24.

Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises Bane Figure Preview

One of this Summers most anticipated films The Dark Knight Rises has just gotten its first figure announcement from the folks at Hot Toys. The character announced is Bane what appears to be the main villain in the film. Now, in this preview we don’t get a facial shot nor when this will go up but we at least fans know who to expect first from this movie. As soon as it goes up I will let you know.

Today, in Sideshow Collectibles Newsletter we get two amazing items one for fans of Batman and one for fans of Star Wars. Fans of the Caped Crusader get a second chance to order one of the coolest items Hot Toys has ever made for the Batman series of figures. The Tumbler 2.0 aka the Batmobile is back and available to order right now from Sideshow. The Batmobile will cost ya $470 and will have a NRD of $47 charged with the first 24-48 hours of the time of purchase. Star Wars fans got a preview of a really superb looking Battle Droid with STAP. This figure for the exclusive version will run you $220 and come with a really cool mini-holographic figure of the Mark I. The Mark I will also be shipping in the 3rd quarter of this year so you have plenty of time to save up so you can snag this incredible figure. Another review for ya today and this time it will be from the world of Indiana Jones. This figure from Hot Toys is not just one of the regular MMS figures but a DX figure with plenty of options. Indy comes with multiple outfits, hands, stands, a backdrop, etc to give you different looks for Indy. All of this makes the $250 price tag worth it when you can do so much with a one of the best movie characters ever. This figure is still available from Sideshow Collectibles and if you’re a U.S. collector you will also get free shipping.

Sideshow Collectibles Newsletter Update for January 5th

Today’s Sideshow Collectibles Newsletter is full of Marvel and DC goodness! From Sideshow Collectibles we get the Magik comicquette. This collectible will cost $280 for the exclusive with an NRD of $28 but you will have time to save up the rest as she won’t be shipping until quarter two of this year. The exclusive version of this piece comes with a switch out sculpt to make this a Darkchild comicquette. Hot Toys brings the amazing looking Red Skull from this Summers Captain America: The First Avenger. The Red Skull comes in at $200 but does have free domestic shipping from Sideshow Collectibles.

If you’re a fan of DC then the last day of the 12 days of Sideshow brought a great bit of news. During the last day on Wednesday fans got an amazing video of many of the items Sideshow has planned for the Justice League. The video showcased items like a Batman comic Premium Format, life-sized Superman bust, etc.

Sideshow Collectibles Commander Gree Review

Today, I’ve got another review for you and this time it comes from Sideshow Collectibles Star Wars 1:6th figure line. The character I have for you is Commander Gree who you might remember when Order 66 came down was supposed to kill Yoda but managed to lose his head. This clone is maybe the hardest one for Sideshow make so far because of the complicated camo pattern but it came out really well done. If you’re a fan of the Clones like me this is a must and if you make this your first Clone then congrats.
